Lillie's House provides care for infants, 6 weeks through 18 months of age. Infants are encouraged to have their own unique schedule with feeding and sleeping occurring on demand. Team members are responsive to children's individual needs and provide opportunities for exploration of their environment. Group size is small with each infant receiving individual care and one-on-one attention. Infants enjoy sensory experiences, walks in the indoor and outdoor environment, listening to simple stories, engaging in gross motor activities, rocking in the rocking chair and singing experiences. The children have opportunities to interact with the residents of Hillcrest Health Plaza during intergenerational activities planned each week. Families provide valuable information to the team members each day about their child's evening and morning, and team members share events of the day each afternoon. Frequent and on-going communication is key to your child's success. Parent-Teacher Conferences are conducted semi-annually providing and opportunity for families to have valuable input into the care their child receives and to establish goals for their continued growth, development and learning. |
